Nacho's dedication to offering a regional overview of the Bierzo wine landscape is evident in his Pyjama range. In 2015, he set out to produce a Godello that highlighted the elegance and versatility of the variety, emphasizing the exceptional wines Bierzo can produce from it.

To accomplish this, he selected a series of hill-planted vineyards in his village of Villafranca del Bierzo. These vineyards have a northeast orientation, benefitting from cooler temperatures, and are located at an altitude of 490 meters. After hand-harvesting the grapes, Nacho allows the juice to ferment with its native yeast. He then places 80% of the wine in stainless steel and the remaining 20% in used French oak barriques. Over five months, the wine interacts with its fine lees, gaining a richer mouthfeel and texture.

The result is a wine that's not only easy to drink but also resonates with its terroir. It possesses a gastronomic appeal, complemented by a solid structure and full mouthfeel. Its crisp acidity ensures it never becomes overwhelming, making the wine versatile—perfect for immediate enjoyment.
